Hi, I’m Vera — and I’m really glad you’re here.I’m a pre-licensed therapist and the founder of Safe Steps Counseling. I work with kids, teens, and adults who are dealing with stress, trauma, big life changes, or just feeling stuck.

As someone who understands what it’s like to navigate different cultures, languages, and life transitions, I bring a lot of compassion and cultural awareness into my work. I speak English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and I’m especially passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence, immigrant families, and young people finding their voice.

Therapy with me is warm, real, and judgment-free. We’ll move at your pace—and I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.
